Using a digital business card at a trade fair or expo
Updated
Tap your card on each visitor's phone, or let them scan your QR code. Your details open on their phone, and they can send theirs back to you, tagged with the fair. When the fair ends you have one list of everyone, ready to follow up, instead of a pocket full of cards to type in.
The problem with paper at a fair
A busy stall hands out hundreds of cards and collects a pile back. Most of what you collect gets typed in days later, if at all, and by then you no longer remember which visitor wanted a quote and which was just walking past.
The leads were real. They were lost in the gap between the stall and the follow up.
How it works at the stall
- Before the fair, set an event tag such as the fair's name. Every contact shared while it is on is tagged with it.
- Tap your Nuhdge card on the visitor's phone. Your Nuhdge Profile opens in their browser.
- They save you to their contacts in one tap, and can send you their name, phone and email.
- Their details land in your contacts with the tag, so the list sorts itself by fair.
Keep the QR code where people can see it
A tap is fastest one to one, but at a crowded stall a printed QR code on the counter or a standee lets people scan while you are talking to someone else. It opens the same profile and the same way back.
After the fair
Set a follow up reminder on each contact worth chasing. When it comes due, call, WhatsApp or email from the reminder itself. Add a note while you still remember what they asked about.
If your team works the stall together, export the list as CSV and share it, or bring it into your CRM.
What it costs
Your Nuhdge Profile, link and QR code are free, with up to 25 contacts. A fair will pass that quickly, so most exhibitors buy a Nuhdge card, which makes contacts unlimited: ₹499 for Classic, paid once. For a whole team at a stall, cards can be ordered in bulk through the For business page.
Try it on the next person you meet.
Your Nuhdge Profile and QR code are free. No app needed.
